A-CREDIT takes input from lower level costing models and presents costs using a standard Cost Resource Breakdown Structure (CRBS), profiled across a system's life. This consistent presentation supports the like for like comparison of different systems, for example when assessing options to fulfil a capability requirement.
A-CREDIT can draw its inputs from a wide range of approved cost models including PRICETM, OSCAMTM and bespoke spreadsheet-based models. A-CREDIT provides a controlled environment within which these data can be manipulated, providing the functionality to apportion costs to budget holders and resource codes.
A single A-CREDIT model can contain several programme options. Tools are provided to assist in creating Minimum/Maximum estimates, inflate costs and slip programmes to the right or left.
A-CREDIT was developed by Advantage for use by the Pricing and Forecasting Group (PFG) at Abbey Wood. |
