Following a distinguished career in the Armed Forces, Godfrey joined Advantage in 1998 and was appointed Director in 2004. He manages Systems Solutions Ltd within Advantage Business Group, which specialises in the design and implementation of innovative, mission critical software systems and products for the emergency services and airport markets. Godfrey has a deep understanding of the police, criminal justice, defence and security sectors and has been central to the Company's development in the biometric and identity management market.
Godfrey was awarded the Queen's Commendation for Valuable Service (QCVS) in 1995, appointed as a Freeman of the City London in 1996 and received the OBE in 1997 for distinguished operational service.
